In 2024 Scripture Union reaches the centenary milestone of faithful youth and children’s ministry in South Africa. On the 17th November 1924 Hippo Millard arrived on Cape Town’s shores as the first employed SU worker in South Africa. From that point on, SU volunteers and staff would grow a work that has touched many young people and left a God-honouring legacy that still stands today.
In the Western Cape we are celebrating God’s faithfulness and the legacy of evangelism and discipleship build through the faithful service of thousands of volunteers.
