On February 22nd, an inspiring and empowering Children’s Ministry Training session took place, drawing 170 passionate individuals dedicated to nurturing the next generation. The event was filled with valuable insights and practical tools aimed at strengthening ministries and equipping leaders with the skills needed to positively impact the lives of children in their care.
The day’s program was packed with engaging and informative sessions, each carefully designed to address key aspects of children’s ministry. Attendees were treated to a series of impactful discussions that covered various topics essential for growth and development within their ministries.
Our first session was about fundraising, and it helped attendees recognize the importance of financial stewardship and how to approach fundraising with integrity and vision. Another session was centered on teaching kids to pray. Prayer is the foundation of any faith, and the training focused on how to guide children into a deeper understanding of prayer. Next, the training dove into the importance of building a strong team. Practical tips on communication and fostering a spirit of unity were shared, helping leaders to better support their volunteers and build a team culture that thrives on collaboration. The final session offered practical teaching skills that can be directly applied to children’s ministry.
The response from participants was overwhelmingly positive. Many attendees described the training as “phenomenal” and expressed how much they had learned throughout the day. One participant shared, “The training was beyond what I expected. The sessions were engaging, practical, and full of relevant content. I feel more equipped to serve in my role and can’t wait to apply everything I’ve learned.”
With the training completed, the future of children’s ministry looks brighter than ever, as leaders are now more prepared than ever to guide the next generation in their spiritual journey.
