As we reflect on Camp Season 2025, our hearts are full of gratitude for all that God has done through each camp, leader, and young person involved. From moments of deep discipleship to joyful celebration, this season reminded us again of the power of intentional community and Christ-centred ministry.
Over the months of November and December, Scripture Union EC hosted four impactful camps, each uniquely designed to help young people grow in faith, identity, and relationship with God.
Boys Camp | Legacy
21–23 November | Partnering with The Gem Project
The Boys Camp focused on the theme Legacy, with an emphasis on intentional discipleship and character formation. Through honest conversations and meaningful teaching, the boys explored what defines them and what it truly means to grow into Christ-centred men.
The weekend created space for reflection, brotherhood, and practical steps toward building a faith-filled legacy that will influence generations to come.
Girls Camp | Position Yourself – Chosen & Royal
26–28 November | Partnering with The Gem Project
Thirty girls gathered for an unforgettable weekend centred on identity in Christ. From the opening session to the closing reflections, the message was clear: they are chosen, set apart, and royal.
Highlights included identity-focused devotions, joyful activities, a Royal Banquet where leaders served the girls, creative expression sessions, and a powerful collaborative art project symbolising unity and growth. The weekend was filled with laughter, learning, and lasting memories, strengthening faith and friendship alike.
ReAwkn Camp
5–7 December | Partnering with Scripture Union
ReAwkn Camp provided a focused environment for spiritual renewal and intentional engagement with faith. Through four main teaching sessions and a variety of interactive workshops, young people were encouraged to step away from daily distractions and encounter God in meaningful ways.
Worship played a central role throughout the camp, creating moments of unity and spiritual openness. We rejoice that four young people made the decision to commit their lives to Christ, a powerful testimony to God’s work among us.
Summer Special | Zootopia
13–16 December | Riverview Retreat (Grade 4–7)
Our Summer Special camp brought together approximately 180 children, creating an atmosphere full of energy, fun, and spiritual growth. From engaging activities and themed evenings to special highlights like a snake show and fire dancers, the week was packed with excitement and joy.
On the final day, the gospel was clearly shared, and we witnessed an incredible move of God as 62 children made the decision to give their lives to the Lord. This moment was a deeply humbling highlight for our team, and we continue to pray that these children will grow strong in their faith.
Thank You
We are incredibly encouraged by the quality of our leaders this year. Their maturity, commitment, and care were evident throughout every camp, and we are grateful for the role the PLP programme played in equipping them so well.
Thank you to every leader, volunteer, partner, parent, and prayer supporter who made Camp Season 2025 possible. We look forward with great expectation to what God will do in the year ahead.
