STONEY RIDGE campsite - magaliesberg valley
Stoney Ridge is Scripture Union South Africa’s largest campsite, set in the beautiful Magaliesberg Valley near Hekpoort. Just 15km outside Magaliesburg, it offers a peaceful escape from the busyness of city life and is the ideal venue for school camps, youth groups, churches and community events. We offer structured programmes including life skills, leadership development and optional Christian content, together with catering options, making it easy to host a meaningful and well-supported camp. Whether you’re planning a youth camp, church retreat or team-building experience, Stoney Ridge provides the space and support to make it impactful.
The campsite can accommodate up to approximately 240 people and is uniquely designed to operate as one large camp or three separate camps running simultaneously. Facilities include comfortable accommodation, a large hall, smaller meeting rooms, a swimming pool and a spacious sports field, all set within a safe and welcoming environment. With great food, beautiful surroundings and a friendly team, Stoney Ridge is a place where groups can grow, connect and create lasting memories.

Glen Cairn Campsite – Western Cape
Scripture Union South Africa is excited to manage Glen Cairn Campsite, a beautiful youth camp in the scenic Glencairn Valley. We welcome schools, youth groups, churches and community organisations to host camps, with the added benefit of our structured programmes. These include life skills, leadership and optional Christian content such as Bible engagement. Catering options are also available, making it easy for groups to enjoy a meaningful and well-supported camp experience. Churches are warmly invited to use the campsite for camps and retreats.
Glen Cairn can accommodate up to approximately 250 people across several camp areas, offering dormitory-style accommodation, cabins and space for tent camping. The site includes multiple camp sections with their own facilities, as well as shared spaces such as a conference venue, dining areas and outdoor activity areas. This makes it ideal for school camps, youth programmes and community or church events.
