Connect: Building Relationships and Addressing Needs
Our first step is establishing genuine connections with young people in our communities. Through Sakh’Ulutsha initiatives, our mission partners meet them where they are, addressing practical needs and demonstrating Christ’s love through compassionate action. This serves as an introduction, allowing us to build relationships and introduce faith exploration opportunities. Currently, 56 Mission Partners engage weekly in this phase across KZN.
Explore: Discovering Jesus and His Word
As relationships deepen and interest in the Christian faith grows, we focus on providing opportunities for exploration and discovery. Through engaging activities and resources, we encourage young people to delve deeper into the Bible, Jesus, and Christian principles. This stage offers a safe space for questioning, reflection, and shared learning.
Respond: Inviting a Personal Response to Jesus
Having encountered the message of hope and love found in Christ, we extend a clear and non-pressured invitation to respond personally. Whether through a single moment of clarity or a gradual realization, we encourage young people to take the next step in their faith journey. This stage offers tangible opportunities for them to embrace Jesus as their Savior.
Grow: Nurturing Spiritual Growth and Community
Finally, we are committed to nurturing the spiritual growth of young disciples within supportive communities. Through discipleship resources, meaningful relationships, and worship and service opportunities, we empower them to grow spiritually and live out their faith daily. Our goal is to equip a generation of disciples prepared to serve their communities and the world for Christ.
