Welcome Jordan

Jordan Benson, a creative and inquisitive individual, is making a meaningful impact as a new staff member at Scripture Union. Known for her thought-provoking questions and passion for artistic expression, Jordan brings her enthusiasm to the realms of communications, social media, and field work in the Pinelands/Thornton area.

Having experienced the transformative power of SU firsthand, Jordan is eager to support and train leaders who can shape the faith of young people, just as her mentors did for him.

With a background in Public Relations and Communications, she brings valuable skills to contribute to God’s kingdom work through SU, aiming to inspire growth and reflection in the lives of young hearts. Drawing from her own journey, of having participated in holiday clubs, camps, and school Christian groups, Jordan understands the challenges faced by young individuals in schools and local churches. She empathizes with the confusion and chaos that teenagers often encounter and she looks forward to guiding and serving as a voice of truth, helping them navigate through these challenges and find firm footing in their faith.

While Jordan is deeply committed to her work at SU, she harbors aspirations beyond her current role. One item on her bucket list is to expand her impact by visiting SU in different regions of South Africa and even serving SU on other continents. This demonstrates her dedication to making a difference in the lives of young people in different contexts.

With her creativity, passion, and heart for serving others, Jordan Benson is poised to inspire and uplift young hearts. We are excited to have her on the team in her new communications, and fieldwork role.
