Teen Camp at Greystone

Our teen camp is a highlight for many students, this December we built relationships with teenagers from very different backgrounds.

Some of the students grew up with a biblical worldview whilst others with traditional and ancestral worldviews and practices. The diversity of the group highlighted the language gaps that exist with English as a first language versus Isizulu. Students in many of our Schools are facing the challenge where a number of their peers are being “called” to become involved in traditional practices.

This phenomenon was a discussion between students and their leaders on camp, this allowed for a greater understanding between all the campers and an opportunity to present a biblical worldview on the matter.

A few of the students felt this camp provided them with a unique opportunity to discover these truths and spending time with other Christians was really helpful in their faith formation.
