2022 Kids Holiday Club
The December summer camp is a highly anticipated annual event for young people, attracting campers from different areas in Gauteng such as Pretoria, Alex, Johannesburg South, Soweto and the Vaal. This year, our theme for the kids' camp was "The Reel Story." We used various indoor and outdoor activities, including team building exercises, games, movies, praise and worship, and teaching from the Word, to unpack the theme for the kids.
One of the highlights of the camp was a giant puzzle that we designed, with each child receiving a piece to write or paint how they belong to the Story of God. It was amazing to see how creative the kids were. The message was clear - if we don't do our part, the puzzle will be incomplete, and we won't see the big picture.
As Ephesians 2:10 says, "God has made us what we are. In Christ Jesus, God made us new people so that we would do good works. God had planned in advance those good works for us. He had planned for us to live our lives doing them."
