One young life at a time | SU Pietermaritzburg

PMBOnly one word can describe my experience at the Transformers Leadership 2015 camp; AWESOME! It was amazing to feel the presence of the Holy Spirit together with people from different cultural backgrounds. An atmosphere of love and togetherness as Bhande High school Grade 12 prevailed, and we learnt that we are all people of God no matter what culture we come from. The leaders of the camp were also role models to us and showed us how to take a stand and live the life you know God wants for you.

They taught us how to have values which would always remind us to make good choices in this difficult age group we are in. The presenters and the leaders were also able to control the camp and keep everyone focused on the one man Jesus. The sessions were very enlightening and gave me a lot of ideas for empowering my church and community. It was also a lot of fun to play really cool games that had lessons as the end! This was a really good experience for us as young people and for me personally. What can I say about the praise and worship! Wow, I have never felt the Lord speak to me in song and dance as much as he did on Saturday morning; it was amazing and made me realise that whatever I have is all through His amazing grace. Motivational speakers spoke as if they knew every one’s personal life, or let me say my personal life. I hope and pray that next year we can have another group of young people from our school attend this camp, as it is a great experience to help them discover themselves whilst they are still young.

Thank you for such a wonderful experience.
