High Tea | SU Western Cape

On 8 March SU Western Cape held a tea to raise funds for the SU Western Cape Girls’ Camp taking place in April. The tea was a great success. Everyone dressed up in their 1920s fashion. There was a short programme followed by a fashion show where we looked for the best dressed lady. The ladies enjoyed this immensely. Each table had to choose one model who they felt embraced the 1920s fashion best. The models then had to walk on the “runway” and strut their stuff for the judges.

Mrs Gloria Hamond (pictured left) won the 1st prize and she had apparently made the outfit herself!

Much fun was had by all! If you would still like to contribute to the camp or send a camper, please contact Lindsay Charles.
