Join the Scripture Union South Africa Charity Team for the 2015 Cape Argus Pick n Pay Momentum Cycle Tour on Sunday, 8 March 2015
Scripture Union South Africa is an international, non-denominational registered NPO: 008-036 that works with children and young people in South Africa. SU operates in over 130 countries around the world. Its mission is to lead young South Africans to know and walk with God through our various intervention programmes. Every year SU puts together a group of 20 riders who individually commit to raise money on behalf of our Bible Engagement outreach work.
The cost per rider is R630 and this will include:
• Riding in the SU Charity Group;
• Guaranteed entry;
• An SU branded cycling top;
• A start time earlier than the PPA & Open Groups – however if riders qualify for an earlier start, they can do that or start at the allocated time for the SU Charity Group.
Each charity rider needs to commit to raising a minimum of R3000, in addition to the R630 entry fee, by 31 March 2015.
To book your entry please complete the registration form and send it back to Melissa at firstname.lastname@example.org. As group entries fill up quickly, it will be first come first booked. 100% of all funds raised will go towards our Bible Engagement outreach work that assists children, youth and adults to meet God daily through his Word.
The R630 entry fee is paid over by Scripture Union to the race organisers and is not a donation. The entry fee does not include the R3000 donation.
Cyclists who are not able to participate on race day due to injury, cancellation etc. or who do not finish the race for whatever reason will still be held accountable to raise the minimum R3000 donation
We welcome you, through being part of our group, to become an avid fundraiser for SU – our ultimate goal is R120000 through this event – so the sky is the limit.
Will you join us in this exciting project?
If you feel you are not able to raise the R3000, you are welcome to register as individual rider and become an activist for Scripture Union South Africa.
